Love of all the animal kingdom.
Love playing with the animals and keeping their minds active. I have had 4 dogs of my own, 2 Springer Spaniels that lived to 16 years old, a rescue dog who was a Staffie/Whippet who lived till 1 week before her 18 birthday. Now I have a very enthusiastic and friendly brown Cocker Spaniel who was born in Richmond in 2022. Also had a cat that lived till 23 years old.
I like to think their long life is due to the super healthy food i feed them as well as the enthusiasm for life I share with them.
Depending on the dog, i throw sticks for them, play ball, let them paddle in the water, and generally let them have a good time. Im also very safety conscious so make sure they keep to the paths and green fields, and always on the lead by any roads.
Cats are more independant so feed and play with them if they want, some cats just like you to talk to them, cuddle them and they puuuuurrrr!
Meet Jo
Growing up with 7 dogs, a cat, rabbits, and fish whilst also spending a lot of time at dog training classes and Cruft’s dog show from an early age, set my life of animals from a very early age.
Now living in Richmond, I love walking along the river, Petersham Fields, Richmond Park, Marble Hill and so many other amazing places to enjoy walking the dogs.
Offer dog walking service, cat and dog sitting, as well as feeding other animals in your home, including fish, tortoises and rabbits.
Both pedigree dogs and rescue dogs enjoy the walks, and happy to play ball, and dry them if they go swimming.
Recently had a dog that the owner said can’t be put on a lead and didn’t like to play with a ball. I’m happy that the first walk this lovely springer spaniel was happily walking on the lead and enjoyed a great game of chase and return the ball. The next dog walk, he showed me he wants to play ball again. A very happy dog. I seem to have a natural gift of communicating with animals.
All dog sizes happy to take for a walk. I knew a lady with 6 Great Danes once and what a beautiful dog pack they were. Then there are the dachshunds, little slower but just as big in personality.
Plus of course the cats that need feeding and company!
