Dog walking in Old Deer Park Richmond Upon Thames in Surrey is a dog walkers dream! Large open space, peaceful and lots of bins! You know what I mean! There are so many beautiful places to walk your dog in Richmond and this is one of the best of them all, especially if you have dogs that like to play ball.
I loved walking these 2 dogs from the same home. They were the best of friends. The spaniel particularly loved the tennis ball!
This dog walk in the Old Deer Park of Richmond was next to Pools On The Park. A large expansive area to throw the ball, and lots of space for the dogs to run. Just 5 minutes walk from Richmond train station. If you walk across the large grass area which at weekends is often used for sporting events, 10k runs and football etc there is a small footpath bridge that takes you to the main path along the river.
If you go over the bridge and turn right it takes you towards Kew Bridge and turn left it takes you to Richmond Bridge where the riverside pubs, and restaurants are.
